Welcome to the fourth issue of AyrtonLIVE, the magazine that keeps you up to date with the latest news and developments here at Ayrton.

In this edition we preview our offerings for Prolight + Sound, Frankfurt where we will be showcasing our latest product releases around three equally spectacular Lazerus vehicles. The mechanical beasts will be sited on a video podium of new DreamPanel Floor HD tiles and illuminated by new NandoBeam S3 and MagicPanel 602 fixtures, amid a plethora of existing Ayrton lighting products.

We also bring you a report from the Paris Motor Show where lighting designer Herve Audibert’s innovative lighting design uses Ayrton Wildsun K7 and Arcaline fixtures to inject some colour into the Renault stand. The project proved to be a valuable opportunity to explore and develop new control technology.

In a total change of scene, we take you to the ‘roof’ of the Olympia Theatre in Paris where Laurent Chapot chose Ayrton fixtures for the first time to light ska acoustic band, Tryo in a show that combined colour and subtlety. Energy-efficiency is always a prime consideration for Chapot and Tryo so we were very happy to be included in his low-energy, high-impact design.

Ayrton loves to work with the best companies and individuals in our determination to innovate with our products. For those of you who are just as fascinated with the internal workings of our luminaires that keep us ahead of the field, we have news about our collaboration with LumenRadio and an in-depth profile on Gaggione, the company behind some of our optics.

Finally, our regular Bench Test feature takes you on a journey through our Rollapix, the stylish, compact LED strip with a motorised tilt, which has been taking stage designs by storm. Highly versatile and transportable, this little unit is fast establishing itself as the latest ‘must have’ lighting essential.
