  • • Is there a limit to the maximum height for DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 construction ?
  • The theoretical maximum image size possible with DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 or the DREAMPANEL FLOOR 256 is 32 meters long and 24 meters high, which is the maximum resolution of the video signal input that can interpret the DV-controller DREAMPANEL 384 (1024 x 768 pixels). This is entirely feasible with the DREAMPANEL FLOOR 256, but not with the DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256. The height limit of a screen DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 is 8 meters (16 tiles, so 256 pixels tall), because of mechanical chassis-related suspension reasons. The length of a screen DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 remains unchanged compared to DREAMPANEL FLOOR 256, or 32 meters as well.
  • • Could there be a permanent outside installation with DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256?
  • Yes, but keeping in mind that the mechanical suspension of DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 is designed for a suspension from the top of the screen only and is not intended to resist wind. AYRTON does not propose a solution in this regard. So, as part of a DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 perennial outside panels, the installer must consider, develop and obtain approval from a control system organization for setting DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 adapted to the realization targetted.
  • • Can DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 be used anywhere in the world?
  • As the vast majority of products AYRTON, the DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 has a universal power supply 110/240 volts AC, 50/60 Hz. Its use is possible in all countries issuing this type of power supply.
  • • Is it possible to control the DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 directly with a DMX console or via a “LED MAPPER " system ?
  • DREAMPANEL SCREEN The 256 is scheduled to be driven solely by the video controller DREAMPANEL DV-384. The only way to control proposed is a video signal, which also makes our solution more powerful than systems controlled point by point in DMX or other protocol, because here only the input resolution system is a size limit for a screen feasible. But with a screen size limit for the DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 of 32 meters by 8 meters, or 1024 panels, that limit does not end. If the DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 should be controlled pixel by pixel, it would require for a single panel just 768 DMX channels to control the red, green and blue each pixel : More channels required than allowed by the DMX 512 protocol with 512 useful channels.
  • • There is a great similarity in appearance between the front of a screen  of DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 and DREAMPANEL WALL 64. What are the differences between these two devices?
  • It is true that the front of a screen made in DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 is very similar to that of a screen built from DREAMPANEL WALL 64. But the resemblance stops here. The DREAMPANEL WALL 64 is a small video panel of 25 centimeters per side, to be screwed on any mounted support, in compact groups or mosaics, allowing all possible forms of screens made, and is intended for indoor use. Meanwhile The DREAMPANEL SCREEN 256 is scheduled for completion screens suspended from above, measuring 50 centimeters per panel side, and is specifid for both indoor and outdoor use, with its IP65 rate protection.
