• • How can we make the setting of an Arcaline?
• The Arcaline 100 or the Arcaline 50 do not have integrated command panel. An optional accessory, COUGAR2, associated with its software COUGAR2 MANAGER, allows to set the DMX MODE from a PC. You can also get through this device for useful information about the projector as consulting hourly counter, the version of software installed, etc... The advantage of this system is that the Cougar 2 plugs into the DMX line instead of the console, it is possible to change the pre-settings on a Arcaline even if it is not directly accessible, as installed in height for example.
• • I modified my Arcaline equipping them with a recopy cable power. How do I install  them safely?
• This depends essentially on the voltage used with Arcaline.
  In the 110 Volts AC, the maximum quantity of devices connected in cascade is 4 Arcaline 100 or 8 Arcaline 50.
  In the 230 Volts AC, the maximum quantity of devices connected in cascade is 8 Arcaline 100 or 16 Arcaline 50.
• • What is the maximum amount of Arcaline that I can connect on a single DMX512 line?
• The DMX512 USITT Standard requires a maximum number of 32 DMX512 receivers. You need to know that Arcaline 100 includes 2 DMX512 receivers, while a 50 Arcaline as only one.  The maximum quantity of Arcaline devices per DMX line is 16 Arcaline 100, or 32 Arcaline 50.
• • Is it possible to change the light beam angle emitted by the Arcaline?
• Yes, like most projectors AYRTON, the native angle of diffusion of a projector can be increased by the use of specific diffusion filters proposed as optional accessories. These filters are available in various angles, and are to be inserted inside the device.
• • What is the advantage to propose several DMX modes on an Arcaline?
• This is to better match device to the user needs. Arcaline 100 RGB, for instance, offers a choice among 6 different DMX mode, ranging from 3 DMX channels to 9 DMX channels. In Mode 3 channels, the use of the device is simplified in the extreme, only the Red, Green and Blue are adjustable inside the projector. In Mode 9 Channel DMX, the Arcaline be controlled in 2 independent sections, and special functions such as dimmer,  Cycling colour variation cycle channel or a stroboscopic effect are available to the user. • • Is it possible to use a Arcaline in a country where the voltage is 110V AC?
• Absolutely. The Arcaline projector has an internal power accepting universal input voltage ranging from 110 to 240 Volts, 50 or 60 Hz The use of Arcaline is possible in all countries where the voltage is included in this scale.
